Since June 1999 and until his designation as President & CEO of VERIZON DOMINICANA, Mr. Jorge Iván Ramírez had been serving as President to DIVEO DE COLOMBIA, a telecommunications company (CLEC) engaged in digital connectivity operations for: Lan, PBX Digital, private virtual networks, data network access, videoconference, internet access, IP Networks, hosting and others.
In Colombia, he was member of the Board of Directors for the following companies: Medisalud, Finca, S. A., Caracol Radio, Cromos Magazine, ANDA (National Association of Advertisers) and CCIT(Colombian Chamber of Informatics and Telecommunications).
Mr. Ramírez worked as President & CEO of VERIZON DOMINICANA since November of 2000 until December of 2006.
Additionally, he has been President of the American Chamber of Commerce and ASIEX ( Asociacion de Empresas de Inversion Extranjera) in the Dominican Republic, member of the Board of Directors of CONEP (Consejo Nacional Empresas Privadas de la Republica Dominicana) and member of the Board of Directors of Verizon International Teleservices.
He is working in Intransforming Consultants,LLC as General Manager and owner This company is specialized helping its customers identify their differentiators in the market and the knowledge management, technological and marketing strategies to become more competitive in the global arena.
